About McAdams Academy

McAdams Academy is a therapeutic educational program that combines academic instruction with behavioral and emotional support in a structured classroom setting. We serve students who have been expelled, placed on long-term suspension, or are involved in foster care and not currently attending school.

Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment where students can address emotional and behavioral challenges while continuing their education. By keeping students engaged in school, we help them stay connected to positive supports and opportunities for growth.

Students at McAdams Academy work toward earning academic credits through an accredited curriculum while receiving therapeutic support throughout the school day. Our integrated approach helps students develop emotional regulation, improve decision-making skills, build healthy relationships, and make positive behavioral changes.

At McAdams Academy, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of the challenges they have faced. Our goal is to help students build the skills, confidence, and resilience needed for a successful future.

Statement of Faith

God

We believe in one Sovereign God, the Creator of everything, who exists in three distinct Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Humanity

We believe God created mankind in His image, and all humanity is born in a fallen state, totally unacceptable to God and utterly unable to remedy this fallen state apart from God.

Jesus the Messiah

We believe Jesus is God incarnate, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, and provides the only path for mankind to be made acceptable to God.

Bible

We believe the New Testament and the Hebrew Bible to be inerrant in the original writings, God-breathed, and the final authority for life, faith, and a personal relationship with God.
